Angry Birds maker Rovio is teaming up with a major U.S. retail chain, which has not yet been announced, to put its branded toys, books and T-shirts in popular areas of thousands of stores nationwide, company's marketing chief announced on Tuesday. Since the launch of Angry Birds two years ago they have raised up to $9 Billion, went from 50 to 300 hundred workers, and have calculated that their game is played up to 300 million minutes a day. They claim it will be bigger than their current partnership with Barnes & Noble and will attract many more users worldwide. This is a bold step for them because the company was succeeding beyond what they expected and they were doing an astounding job before making the decision to get a new partner. Hopefully their predictions are true and they get bigger and better.
